Construction, groundworks and foundations
For more than 15 years, Firing & Thorsen AS has provided ground and terrain services in Horten and Oslo. We also provide industrial services and cover all types of water- and drainage systems. Since the start-up in September 2003, we have accumulated experiences and special skills that benefit our customers.
Firing & Thorsen AS is located in ‘Horten Industripark’, with its headquarters in Horten and the branch office in Oslo, F&T has access to a machine park of more than 115 units – Ready for almost any task.
We are about 85 employees and recruit temporary personnel when needed. Our organization is big enough to take on larger and difficult assignments, but at the same time small enough to turn around and adapt on short notice. Depending on the size of the assignment, we will have anything from 2 to 70 workers on the construction site.
Always prepared
With a machine park consisting of more than 115 units, we have what we need to perform the vast majority of tasks. With 38 excavators in the range of 1 to 72 tonnes and 41 trucks for mass transportation, we are set up with a varied and modern range of equipment that can handle most types of ground- and foundation-work.

Subcontractors often return as loyal customers, most of our business goes through regular clients that hire us when they have assignments that require specialized knowledge in the field. We are not afraid to take on challenging assignments under demanding conditions. We deliver quality results regardless of ground- and terrain conditions.
